Yesterday, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Beijing Kerry Centre in Mizuno to announce another Mizuno flagship store in Beijing. Mizuno Inc. Executive Chairman Kitano Kitano, the President of Mizuno China Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. Lin Xihe, Vice Chairperson of the China High-tech Co., Ltd. Zhang Xiaoning, Deputy Director of the Xiaoqi Center Wang Liwei and Deputy Secretary General of the China High-level Association Li Yong attended the event.

According to Lin Xihe, Mizuno Corporation entered China 10 years ago. With the vigorous development of the Chinese sports market, Mizuno’s business in China is also increasing. The company plans to have more than 1,200 retail stores throughout China in 2007, and golf is an important part of this. From the perspective of turnover, golf has risen from 1% to 2% of the total sales to 10%.

Mizuno enjoys a reputation in golf equipment and is an official supplier of European Tour events. In the Johnnie Walker Classic held in Beijing in 2005, Mizuno first promoted workshops to China. The workshop can provide players with replacement grips, adjustment of the Lie angle, adjustment of the LOFT angle, replacement of shafts and other club repair and adjustment services. The director of the golf department of Mizuno Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., Kim Hsun-joong, particularly stressed that the Kerry Center store is also equipped with worshop workshops and try-out nets and other related facilities.

In terms of golf apparel, Mizuno changed the route that previously provided only professional golf apparel, adding fashion elements to golf apparel and allowing some people who do not play to wear it. The company is adhering to the corporate philosophy of "contributing to society through high-quality sporting goods and revitalization of sports" to promote the Mizuno brand worldwide.

It is reported that at present, there are more than 40 authorized golf dealers in the country around the country, and the number of golf courses and outlets on consignment sales is also close to 40, and there are more than 180 golf sales outlets.
